Hello again. I've been kind of busy this week (college stuff), but I have a bit of time to make another protoblog, and I actually feel up to it right now, so that's what I'm doing. Unfortuneately I wasn't able to make much blogress today, just shortening the width of the content a bit. I initially wanted the comment div to appear inside the black section, but I was able to find something that worked well and I like the look of generally better. The new problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to get the comment sections content width to change. It either appears the same size as the summary box or it appears way too large. I would ask readers for help but nobody is reading these things yet.

I think this is all the html I have in me tonight, so I'm going to go get some food and maybe play some more splatoon raiders. I finally reached the end and holy shit that final boss was PEAK. I compared encountering one of the previous hard enemies with encountering the tyrant from doom eternal, and the final boss is literally just like the icon of sin. Such a crazy final boss i love splatoon so much. I moved on to the postgame now, and am making progress.

Once again I am up to more tinkering with the blog style instead of actual blog progress (blogress). As you can see, for this one I made the title a different font. But I did successfully remove the arrow! I also did some stuff with the borders that works a little bit like I'd imagined, but its not quite there yet.

As promised, the first draft of the mock comment section has been added where it will go in each blog I make. Very rudimentary now and I'll probably toy with the style of these more and more as it progresses, but I want to do my best to keep these protoblogs in the state I initially posted them in for conservation's sake.

It seems like life will be getting busy again tomorrow, so the next protoblog will probably come at a later date than usual. My main goal for that one is to make some tweaks to the borders. My desire is for the title of the blog to have a solid border, and the content drop down to connect to the title and also have a smaller width. I also want the comment thing to be inside the actual blog but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.

Welcome to the next protoblog! I was hoping to make more progress more quickly but unfortunately I got distracted for a bit by several things. Last week I got the Switch 2 and I've been playing the shit out of Splatoon Raiders every day since. I am hoping to be finished with the general design of the blogs soon, before classes start again and life gets busy, but I've been having a hard time finding motivation to do much today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

On the bright side, I figured out how to force the most recent blog open within the detail tag. It turned out to be quite easy! I seem to be accomplishing my different goals out of order, funnily enough. You definitely noticed that I messed with the text a bit to make things a bit larger and easier to read. This is just for fun and might change in the future blogs. You also probably noticed that I figured out how to get the date justification right. This is a moderate amount of progress but still progress!

My next protoblog will have the button moved or removed, hopefully. I tried the highest rated solution I could google, but it also emptied out the content of my blog as well. Unfortunately my html prowess doesn't go that far beyond googling so for now I'm stuck. I may try to move it to the right side instead, but now that the date is over there it might overlap and clutter and stuff. It might be easier to just remove it. The main challenge of this part of the blog seems like the separation between the title box and the content box of the blog. I want them to be connected, but it's such a specific hard to describe issue that the one time I looked nobody had anything on it. Hopefully I can solve it in the next blog and I look real stupid writing this right now, though. I probably should look for a solution more than 1 time before I give up lol. The next protoblog will also probably have the mock comment section for realsies this time. I could do it now, but it will probably be more complicated than I initially thought and it's late. I'm thinking I will be going to bed now. I have not been able to sleep well these past few days.

blog too mffferess. I was able to get the collapsing elements working somewhat well on the same day I made the previous blog! So far, things are going swimmingly. However, some new smaller problems have presented themselves that I need to stomp out before going to the comment section.

First is the borders of the dropdown paragraph text. I want the top of the box this text is in to extend upwards just a little bit more so that it goes under the blog title.

I also want to get rid of or move that pesky arrow, it just looks kind of weird in the spot its in. But that doesn't seem like it should be too difficult.

After that I need to try to figure out how to get the date of the blog to appear at the right of the box instead of the left, maybe with a line of separation as well.

Once I figure those all out, I think I can move on to the next thing, which will be making the most recent blog post open by default.

Also, the next protoblog will probably have another dropdown box within this one to show where the comment section will be in the future.
